New Pizza Restaurant - Up to £20K plus tips - Brighton

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who has a new opening for an experienced Pizza Chef in their new independent restaurant. A new opening in the heart of Brighton. This restaurant will be focusing on delivery a high standard on freshly made pizzas.

Previous experience as a Pizza Chef in a similar establishment is preferred. An ideal candidate would not only be passionate about Pizza, but also about working as part of a team and ensuring the success of the establishment.

As a pizza chef, you will:

§ Delivery freshly made pizza on a daily basis

§ Rotate stock and organize the relevant storage of goods

§ Be responsible for making sure your section is clean and maintain the correct health, hygiene and safety standards

Successful individuals will be able to demonstrate the following:

§ Achieved at least an NVQ 2 in professional cookery

§ Experience of preparing and cooking a variety of Pizzas and cold starters

§ A passion to learn and develop

§ Can cover different kitchen sections

§ A good team player

Skills, Experience and Demeanour:

Strong background in good quality restaurants, with a focus on local, seasonal produce

• Able to consistently produce numerous dishes with relative speed during busy periods, but without comprising the quality or presentation of the dishes
• Must have calm manner, and be able to take direction where necessary

Package:

Salary: £18,000 - £20,000, depending on experience

Hours: 45-50 Hours per week, 5 days out of 7

Holidays: 28 per annum (inclusive of Bank Holidays)
