Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Duties

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, kitchen area, and dining space.
• Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
• Provide excellent guest services by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and upselling menu items.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Stay informed about menu offerings, including seasonal specials and new products.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or café setting is preferred.
• Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.50-£14.20 per hour
