Vegan Restaurant Team member (Pride temp) at No Catch: Brighton and Hove
Job Summary
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team for Brighton Pride Weekend (1st-2nd August). We are a busy restaurant/takeaway opposite the i360 on Brighton seafront. Our menu offers vegan alternatives to a traditional fish and chip shop menu and we are looking for staff that will be passionate about working for a vegan business.
Hospitality/kitchen/catering experience is preferred but a keen attitude and willingness to learn is more important.
This Role Requires you to:
Have a willingness to learn new processes and food safety/hygiene standards by completing a simple paid on-the-job training period, shadowing current stafff members.
Work in a fast paced kitchen environment with an ability to adapt to the requirements of the day and help where needed. Supporting the kitchen with plating, running orders and basic KP work.
Take time to understand allergens/dietary requirements and be able to discuss these with customers confidently. We hope candidates would be passionate about the vegan menu/ethos of No Catch and engage positively with customers about this.
Help maintain a clean and presentable working environment.
Have a hard working attitude with an eagerness to work as part of a small but committed team.
Provide excellent customer service in a busy restaurant environment. We use a hybrid service style and would require staff to be competent with a till/card machine/running orders to tables promptly.
