Acoustic Engineer Position

We are seeking an Acoustic Engineer to join our team in Brighton. As a key member of our Noise, Acoustics, and Vibration team, you will be working on building, industry, and infrastructure projects to minimize environmental impacts.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Acoustical, Environmental, or related engineering fields focused on acoustics, noise, or vibration. They should possess independent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills, as well as proficiency in Excel/Word and experience with software like SoundPLAN, CadnaA, and AutoCAD. A full UK driving license and ability to travel occasionally are also required.

Job Responsibilities:
Conduct field noise/vibration measurements and building assessments.
Analyze data and utilize software such as SoundPLAN, CadnaA, and Insul.
Design noise and vibration mitigation solutions.
Prepare technical reports and meet project milestones.

Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Acoustical, Environmental, or related engineering fields focused on acoustics, noise, or vibration.
Independent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in Excel/Word; desirable experience with software like SoundPLAN, CadnaA, and AutoCAD.
Full UK driving license and ability to travel occasionally.
