Job Title: Category Manager

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a category of products, driving sales growth and profitability, while enhancing customer engagement. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement category strategies to achieve growth targets
• Analyse sales data, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities
• Select and introduce new product lines to the range
• Manage shelf space and visual merchandising plans for maximum impact
• Set pricing strategies and implement promotional campaigns
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate commercial terms
• Monitor supplier performance against agreements
• Provide regular category performance updates to stakeholders

Requirements:

• Previous buying or merchandising experience in the hair or beauty industry
• Proven ability to manage and develop a team
• Excellent negotiation skills, strong commercial awareness, and a flexible approach
