Drift Bar & Kitchen sits at the base of the iconic Brighton i360 - a unique beachfront destination combining a high-volume restaurant, bar, events space and visitor attraction all in one. From relaxed daytime trade to private dining, events and sky-high experiences, this is a venue with real variety and energy.
We’re looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operation, lead from the front, and drive standards across service, team and guest experience.
Please note, this is a full-time role (40-45 hours per week)

What you’ll be doing
This is a hands-on leadership role in a busy, multi-revenue hospitality environment.
You’ll be responsible for:
Leading the restaurant and bar operation day-to-dayDriving high standards across service, food, drinks and guest experienceManaging, developing and motivating a front of house teamSupporting recruitment, training and performance managementWorking closely with the kitchen and senior leadership teamDelivering smooth, high-quality service during peak periodsEnsuring compliance with health & safety and licensing standardsThis is a role where you’ll be visible on the floor, setting the tone and leading by example.
What we’re looking for
Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or strong Assistant Manager ready to step upBackground in a busy, high-volume restaurant, bar or hospitality venueStrong leadership skills with the ability to build and develop teamsConfident running service and making decisions under pressureSolid understanding of food, drink and guest experience standardsExperience with events, premium dining or multi-revenue sites is a strong advantageCommercial awareness around labour, sales and performance
