Supply Desk is working in partnership with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Brighton and Hove, who are seeking adaptable and enthusiastic KS2 Supply Teachers to join them on a flexible, part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers looking to maintain a healthy work-life balance while continuing to make a positive impact in local schools.

About the Role

As a KS2 Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 2, covering planned absences, short-term placements, and ad hoc supply. You will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 national curriculumAdapt teaching to suit a range of learning abilities and classroom environmentsManage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policiesCreate a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environmentFollow lesson plans provided, with flexibility to respond to pupil needsAssess and monitor pupil progress where requiredBuild positive relationships with pupils, staff, and the wider school community Candidate Profile

Experience teaching within a primary school setting, ideally KS2 (essential)Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculumA flexible, confident, and proactive approachExcellent classroom and behaviour management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal abilitiesA genuine passion for teaching and supporting children s development Requirements
