The Role

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will:

  • Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 to 5, including GCSE and A-Level
  • Deliver well-structured, engaging lessons that foster understanding and enthusiasm for mathematics
  • Use data to monitor progress and implement strategies for student success
  • Contribute to departmental planning, resource development, and curriculum design
  • Support maths enrichment activities, such as competitions, clubs, or mentoring schemes


Person Specification

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a good honours degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject
  • Possess QTS and a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
  • Have experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 KS5, ideally within a high-achieving or selective environment
  • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to academic excellence
  • Be an inspiring communicator with strong classroom management skills
  • Be committed to continuous professional development and the broader school life
